I have wanted to cook this dish for a very long time, but it seems like NTUC rarely sell long beans. Hence, when I see it, with no hesitation, I bought it. This is a very traditional dish that goes very well with rice.
Ingredients
- Long Beans (Trimmed both ends and Cut into 4 to 5cm)
- 1 teaspoon of chopped Garlic
- 1 teaspoon of Salted Crushed Beans
- 1/4 teaspoon of Sugar
- 2 1/2 tablespoon of Minced Pork/ Chicken
- 1 1/2 tablespoon of Finely Chopped Dried Shrimps
- 1 tablespoon of Cooking Oil
- Add Cooking Oil into hot pan
- Add Garlic and stir-fry until fragrant (before garlic turned brown)
- Add Chopped Dried Shrimps and stir-fry until fragrant (approx 2 minutes)
- Add Minced Meat and stir-fry to mix well with dried shrimps until meat is 90% cooked (approx 3 minutes)
- Add Long Beans and stir-fry to mix well
- Add Crushed Salted Bean and stir-fry
- Add Sugar and stir-fry to mix well until Long Beans and Meat are cooked (approx 4 minutes)
Good to go with Rice and a few more Chinese Dishes with a bowl of Chinese Soup.
