It is never easy to cook while holding on to a full time job. I am lucky to have a flexible job that allows agile working environment and hence, I am allowed to work from home a few days per week.
I have created this website as memories of what I have cooked before and also sharing simple recipes to starters and readers who have little time for cooking.
Recipes from my website are motivated by other food blogs, cooking programmes and food that I have tried before.
Brands that I have indicated in my website are products that I have tried and recommended.
Often, you will see that ingredients used in my website are “repeated” as my objective is to provide an environmental-friendly, sustainable and economical cooking.
Using the same type of ingredients will minimize one-time usage, reducing waste when products expired hence this is environmental-friendly, I hope. Having new ingredient in every recipe will result in the need to shop for it, causing inconvenience and this will also increase the cost of cooking. I trust that repeating the same ingredients whenever possible in a recipe will sustain a longer time in the interest of cooking and more economical, if cost is a concern.
I believe that if you are a frequent reader of my website and have tried the recipes, walking into the kitchen with all or majority of the ingredients on hand is not a difficult aim! =)
